Since the introduction of the Scrap Metal Dealers Act was intriduced, all buyers of Scrap Metal must obtain proof of Identifcation and Address. Payments in cash are also prohibited

Photo ID and Address details must be dated within three months of the date of sale of any metal

By using a Photo Driving License, this covers both of our legal obligations - however other forms of  acceptable ID are listed below:

• Valid UK Passport
• Shotgun or Fire Arms certifcate
• Proof of address can be
• Utlity Bill (not mobile phone)
• Bank or Building Society, or Credit Card  Statement
• HMRC correspondance

All our payments are made into your Bank - so remember, we need these details too
